(May
19, 2024) In his first three events since the completion
of "Speedweeks" back in February, Jeff Mathews has been
busy in recent weeks at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida.

only winner Devin Dixon and runner-up Devin McLeod. At the "Clay
by the Bay" on May 11, Jeff finished thirteenth in a $1,000
to win Late Model program. The latest visit to EBRP for the #33
team came this past Saturday evening, May 18, as they vied for
a $1,500 top prize with their potent Open Wheel Modified. Unfortunately,
Jeff was spun out and torn up in an incident during the headliner
and relegated to an eleventh place showing. Complete results from
each of these races can be found online at www.ebrp.co.

(February
10, 2024) With East Bay Raceway Park set to close at
the end of this year, the final 'Winternationals' program ever
for the Super Late Models took place tonight at the storied Gibsonton,
Florida facility. A total of 65 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
competitors signed into the pit area to vie for the $15,000 payday
in front of a standing-room-only crowd. Jeff Mathews laid down
the eleventh fastest lap in Group A during the time trial session
and later ran fifth in his stacked heat race and third in his
B-Main. Unfortunately, those finishes were just shy of transferring
the Riverview, Florida ace into the 50-lap feature that was ultimately
won by Daulton Wilson. (Heath Lawson Photo)
(February 9, 2024) The penultimate event of
the 48th Annual 'Winternationals' took place earlier this evening
at East Bay Raceway Park and Jeff Mathews Motorsports (JMM) was
gunning for the $12,000 first place prize money. Jeff Mathews
stopped the clock sixth quickest in Group B during the qualifying
session prior to grabbing the third and final transfer spot through
his stacked heat race. Jeff was then unfortunately an early retiree
in the 50-lap feature and was ultimately paid for a twenty-fifth
place performance.

after running tenth in his heat race and fifteenth in his B-Main.
With a $5,000 top prize on the line in the rain-postponed event

following a ninth place finish in his heat race and an eighth
place effort in his B-Main.

(February 6, 2024) A $5,000 first place prize
was on the line tonight at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton,
Florida in what was essentially round one of the 'Winternationals'
due to Monday's rain-out. Jeff Mathews was unfortunately involved
in a hard incident during his qualifying laps and was forced to
scratch from the remainder of the program due to the heavy damage
inflicted to his #33 machine. He did not compete in the $5,000
to win feature that was ultimately won by Hudson O'Neal.
(February 5, 2024) Tonight's opening portion
of the 48th Annual 'Winternationals' for the Super Late Models

scheduled program over the course of the next three nights at
the "Clay by the Bay."

for Monday's event will be contested. On Wednesday, heat races
and B-Mains for Monday will be contested at the conclusion of
the regularly scheduled program. Finally, the 25-lap A-Main from
